At Liberty Tutoring our mission is to help students at kindergarten, elementary, high school, and CEGEP levels realize their true potential through personalized 1-on-1 tutoring.

Our unique approach to developing independent learning skills is best demonstrated by how we start to work with your child. Each student is asked to complete a personal LibertyMap^TM. This learning plan establishes clear goals for both the student and the tutor. It becomes the basis for individual lesson plans and measurement standards that are best suited to each child.

In addition to personalized lesson plans, regular bimonthly assessments are completed between the student, the Liberty tutor and the parent. Parents also receive written progress reports and telephone follow-ups from us.

Unlike many leading tutoring firms, Liberty Tutoring does not charge anything for the initial
assessment of your child’s tutoring needs. We do this for the simple reason that our
goal is to build strong working relationships – not to deliver a quick
educational fix.

Education takes planning. That’s what our LibertyMap^TM is all about. It gives your child the freedom to map out their own success path – with the help of their personal Liberty tutor. It includes life skill topics such as problem definition, goals, objectives, strategies and responsibilities – all written in age-appropriate language.

In other words, a license to succeed.

The Elementary LibertyMap Shapes Students

It is extremely dangerous to underestimate the importance of a sound, elementary education. Good and bad learning habits all start here. If we don't identify and correct learning habits at this early age, odds are we never will. What better way to do it than through our unique LibertyMap? Here your child actually documents ways to improve his or her performance – then acts on the written goals under the guidance of the university student mentor.

The Secondary LibertyMap Supports Youth

Now more than ever, high school education is a competitive one. No one knows this better than your child. He or she can clearly see the writing on the post secondary education road. And the last thing they want or need is their parent reminding them of this fact of life. That’s where the Liberty Tutoring comes in. Here again, we encourage the student to create the LibertyMap that fits to their personal education goals towards higher education. We don’t push – we guide and mentor. All of our tutors have been there before. They know how to get to the next level with young adults.
